This is a really cool idea. This company Fonera has released a router that creates a secure public access point. Anyone who has a Fon router and agrees to share some of the WiFi connection will get to access other Fon WiFi access points around the world.
The latest version of the Fon router has some smart router functionality built in. It’s able to download torrents, directly upload files from your camera to your favorite photo sharing site, hook up external shared drives and is upgradable.
For 100.00 this is one amazing little device.
